In Finland, they told about the discussion of the ban for Russians to buy apartments

The Finnish parliament is discussing a ban on buying apartments for Russian citizens who do not have at least a permanent residence permit or EU citizenship. Alexey Bulavtsev, Deputy chairman of the Alexander Society, told Izvestia about this.
"During the discussion in parliament, an initiative has been repeatedly voiced to ban the purchase of apartments for citizens of the Russian Federation who do not have at least a permanent residence permit (type "P") or EU citizenship. This issue will be worked out," he said.
Earlier, the Finnish parliament unanimously approved the government's proposal to completely ban Russians from real estate transactions (land plots, not apartments, are meant by it in the Finnish legal system). The law prohibits purchases by individuals who, according to the EU, may pose a "threat to national security." The ban will affect about 20 thousand Russian citizens living in Finland, who will no longer be able to purchase land and houses.
