Guard Junior Sergeant Pavel Tymchuk commanded the calculation of a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle and received the coordinates of the concentration of equipment and reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which were going to attack Russian positions. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, April 16, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen committed in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

Tymchuk, recognizing the enemy's plan to attack from the flank, imperceptibly moved the combat vehicle to a new firing position, took aim and fired. The MLRS salvo inflicted serious damage on the enemy, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to abandon the idea of attacking the Russian positions and hastily retreated.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism of Lieutenant Maxim Mil, who performed combat missions for aerial reconnaissance and artillery fire correction using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

He conducted surveillance at night, visibility was worsened by increased clouds. The Ukrainian Armed Forces used electronic warfare (EW), which also hindered reconnaissance. Despite all the difficulties, the lieutenant found the position of an artillery piece with the calculation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Miles determined the coordinates of the target's location and transmitted them to the Russian gunners, and then adjusted the fire. As a result, the AFU combat vehicle and crew were destroyed.
