The Unconquered photo exhibition featuring Martemyanov's works has opened in Moscow.

A photo exhibition "The Unconquered" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the heroes of the special military operation to protect Donbass has opened in the Belyaevo Gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association.

A separate section of the exhibition consists of the works of reporters who visited the line of contact. There are also photographs taken by the deceased Izvestia correspondent Alexander Martemyanov.

In addition, other journalists and photojournalists take part in the exhibition: Nadezhda Chicherova, Gennady Kazakov, Svetlana Kiselyova, Dmitry Yagodkin, Alexey Gritsenko, Alexander Gayuk. They are well-known in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), many of them have awards from the republic and the Union of Journalists of Russia (UJR).

Alexander Martemyanov died on January 4 when a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit a car on the Donetsk–Horlivka highway. He died from his injuries. The correspondent was buried in Donetsk on January 8.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, noted that Martemyanov's materials about Donbass "were bold and objective." In addition, the military commander provided assistance to the residents of the republic. On January 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded Martemyanov the Order of Courage.
