In order to invest and save money, it is better for Russians to keep their money in rubles in the short term, and in the future, buying cash currency will be an effective way for four to five years. The economist also predicted the volatility of the dollar and the euro. According to him, the currency will be in a fever, as everything depends on what further actions US President Donald Trump will take.
"Since they are completely unpredictable, it is very difficult to say that it is possible to predict the exchange rate of the dollar or any other currency," he said.
Speaking about investing in real estate, he noted that there is practically no point in this, because it will be very difficult to return the invested funds.
In addition, he stressed that it is better for a non-specialist not to invest in securities and stocks: this way of earning money should only be done professionally.
