Trump criticized China for rejecting the Boeing deal

US President Donald Trump criticized the ban imposed by the Chinese government on the country's airlines for the purchase of aircraft from the American Boeing corporation.
"Interestingly, they just rejected a major deal with Boeing, saying they would 'not accept' fully finished planes," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The American leader also stressed that "whenever trade negotiations or, in this case, a trade war begin, farmers are always on the front line with opponents such as China," and promised to protect their interests.
"In my first term, China was cruel to our farmers, I asked the patriots to hold on, and a great trade deal was concluded <...> It was a great deal for the United States, until crooked Joe Biden came along and ignored it <...> They had no respect for the Biden administration, and who can blame them for that?" — the politician summarized.
Earlier in the day, Bloomberg reported that China had urged its airlines not to accept further deliveries of Boeing aircraft in retaliation for U.S. President Donald Trump's 145% tariffs.
On April 2, Trump announced the introduction of 10% base duties on products imported from other countries. For the European Union (EU), this figure was raised to 20%, and for China — to 34%. On April 4, Beijing imposed retaliatory duties of 34% against the United States, after which Washington announced an increase in anti-Chinese duties to 104%. Later, the Chinese authorities decided to raise duties on imported goods from the United States to 84% as a mirror measure.
On April 9, President Trump announced the suspension of duties previously imposed on a number of countries for 90 days. He also announced an immediate increase in duties on products from China to 125%. On April 10, this figure reached 145%.
