A 16-year-old serial telephone terrorist was detained in Khakassia.

Employees from the cyber police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Khakassia detained a 16-year-old schoolboy who gave false reports about impending explosions at social infrastructure facilities. On April 15, the press service of the Department for the Organization of Combating the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed about this.
"It was established that between January and March 2025, a teenager using IP telephony and number substitution made at least 19 calls, including in five cases involving schools and shopping malls in different regions," the department's Telegram channel says.
Each time after the call, special services went to the alleged scene of the incident. However, the information was not confirmed during verification. According to the teenager's testimony, he transmitted deliberately false information for a monetary reward from the curators of the online group. The young man joined her in January of this year.
Criminal cases have been opened against a minor schoolboy under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Knowingly false report of an act of terrorism"). The suspect's parents will also be brought to administrative responsibility.
On April 13, the FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) reported on the prevention of a terrorist attack at school No. 14, which was attempted by a student of an educational institution. It is clarified that the student was a supporter of the Columbine movement (included in the list of organizations involved in extremist or terrorist activities, and banned in Russia). The young man wanted to make and detonate two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the building of an educational institution.
