Since the beginning of 2025, more than 5.5 thousand fires have occurred in Primorsky Krai. 65 people died.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of fires increased by 45%. Fires mostly occur as a result of carelessness when smoking. Faulty heaters, gas and furnace equipment are also a source of fires. This is reported by PrimaMedia news agency.

One child was among the dead. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations urges residents of the region to observe fire safety measures and install a fire detector in the house.

In the Sverdlovsk region, on April 14, a fire occurred in a private house in Revda. A man and a woman were killed, and a child was injured.
