- Naryshkin told the Baltic States and Poland about the reaction to the attack on the Union State

In a hypothetical NATO attack on the Union State, Poland and the Baltic states, which advocate an escalation of the conflict, will be the first to suffer. This was announced on April 15 by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).
"In the event of aggression by the North Atlantic Alliance against the Union State, damage will be inflicted, of course, on the entire NATO bloc, but to a greater extent, the first to suffer will be the bearers of such ideas among the political circles of Poland and the Baltic countries," Naryshkin said in an interview with reporters.
The director of the SVR said that the Baltic countries and Poland are aggressive and "rattle weapons all the time." He added that Poland's military activity has become one of the factors exacerbating the situation in Europe.
Naryshkin stressed that Moscow and Minsk are monitoring the activity of NATO near the country's borders and are ready to act proactively.
Earlier in the day, the head of the SVR announced that NATO countries were strengthening their military positions on the border with the Kaliningrad region. According to him, this indicates the growing aggression of the bloc towards Russia.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on March 6 that he would invite European countries to consider increasing NATO's military presence on the borders with Russia and Belarus. According to him, the protection of the eastern borders of the European Union has become an indisputable priority for the organization.
