87% of Russians consider spring to be the ideal time of the year to start a relationship. Every second resident admits that the sun and warmth literally make the heart beat faster. On April 16, Izvestia was told about this in the Mamba dating service.

According to the study, with the arrival of warmth, the emotional background changes noticeably: 36% of women and 20% of men feel a surge of freedom and thirst for change, and 40% of men and 29% of women immerse themselves in the atmosphere of romance and flirtation. More than 60% of respondents confirm that it is in the spring that they are most attracted to fall in love. It's not just the sunlight that's to blame, but also the special "spring aura" that 40% of women and 36% of men celebrate.

Curiously, in some aspects, men turned out to be more sentimental.: 10% of them (against 6% of women) recognize the magic of blooming parks and picnics in nature. Online communication is also becoming more active: 55% of men and 46% of women, with the onset of heat, begin to get to know each other more often on social networks and applications.

Statistics confirm that spring really makes it easier to find a mate: 65% of men and 57% of women notice that people become more open during this period. Only 13% of skeptics deny the "seasonal effect".

Many Russians have already had the experience of spring romances — 39% of men and 33% of women recall such relationships without regrets. Another 29% call them a pleasant, albeit brief, adventure.

However, according to the service, spring awakens not only new feelings, but also old connections. 57% of women and 53% of men receive messages from former partners, and 25% of men (versus 10% of women) initiate such "nostalgic" contacts themselves.

"So if you find yourself thinking that it's time to update your dating profile, don't be surprised. This spring is doing its job, turning even the most persistent Russians into romantics and adventurers. The spring season of love is officially declared open," the service's analysts said.

Earlier, on April 9, in the dating service Mamba, Izvestia was told about which features most attract the opposite sex. Analysts have identified the key factors of attraction between different characters. Men are more likely to be attracted to women with an unusual profession (43%), a different temperament (36%), or a communication style (26%). Women value openness and sociability in their partners (47%), the ability to create comfort (35%) and prudence (34%). Experts have also identified problematic character combinations. According to the respondents, the greatest difficulties arise in "stay–at—home party-loving" couples - 34% of women and 29% of men consider such unions unsuccessful.
