Audi has revealed the most streamlined sedan with internal combustion engine in the history of the brand

Audi has introduced the new A6 sedan, and its aerodynamic efficiency has proven to be the best among all models of the brand with internal combustion engines. Sales of new items in Germany will begin this spring, the price starts from €55.5 thousand, the company's press service reported on April 15.

The drag coefficient of the Audi A6 is 0.23 (while that of the electric A6 Sportback e-tron is 0.21). The length of the model is 4.99 m, the wheelbase is 2927 mm. There are three screens in the cabin, and a 10.9-inch display is optional for the front passenger. The noise insulation of the sedan has improved by 30% compared to the previous generation model.

The initial version of the Audi A6 is equipped with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine (204 hp; 340 Nm), front-wheel drive. A diesel engine with a similar volume with a 48-volt system develops 204 hp (400 Nm), the drive can be front-wheel drive or full-wheel drive.

The most powerful version of the A6 is equipped with a three-liter gasoline V6 (367 hp; 550 Nm) with a moderate hybrid electric system and all-wheel drive. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and accelerates to 250 km/h. The A6's list of options includes a fully-controlled chassis, adaptive air suspension, a sporty rear differential, four-zone climate control, 20 audio speakers, and more.

In the new family, the A6 sedan will join the A6 Avant co-platform station wagon, as well as the A6 Sportback e-tron and A6 Avant e-tron electric vehicles.
