The American Embassy in Kiev recalled the right of the United States to cancel the visas of Ukrainians.

The U.S. Embassy in Kiev reminded Ukrainian citizens that their visas to stay in the United States may be revoked by the decision of the country's authorities, as staying there is a privilege, not a right. On April 14, messages about this appeared on the social networks of the diplomatic mission.

Instagram Facebook and Instagram pages of the embassy (both networks belong to the Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) have stories with quotes from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.: "Your visa is expired," "You have to leave," and "Your visa has been revoked."

As the Newspaper points out.Ru", Rubio's quote is also included in the publications: "Visiting America is not a right. This is a privilege granted to those who respect our laws and values." The Ukrainian online publication Strana notes that in this way the embassy is probably hinting to Ukrainians that they may be forced to leave the United States.
