The Federation Council pointed to the economic scam of the West in Ukraine

During the "economic recovery" of Ukraine, billions will be stolen at the expense of European taxpayers. This was announced on April 15 by Alexey Pushkov, head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy.

He noted that Ukraine is becoming a giant scam of the West. According to him, careers were first built on it — in politics, the military and intelligence. Later, this scam turned into a financial one.

"The money will be withdrawn from the EU budget and funds, as well as from the savings of Europeans, and directed towards further armament and the so-called "economic recovery" of Ukraine. <...> The savings of European taxpayers will be spent," Pushkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Pushkov assured that if Ukraine is restored, it will be for millions, but billions will be stolen at the same time.

About €100 million of "aid to Ukraine" was stolen

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on March 6 that half of the money allocated to Ukraine from the EU had been stolen, and promised to raise the issue of Ukrainian corruption at a meeting of the European Council.

Fico added that Slovakia would not support the European Commission's initiative to allocate funds from its budget to help Ukraine. According to him, decisions on financial support for the Ukrainian side should be made independently and based on bilateral agreements with Kiev.
