The authorities of the Gaza Strip reported that the death toll since the beginning of the armed conflict with Israel has exceeded 51 thousand people. This was reported on April 15 by the Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah, citing the enclave's Ministry of Health.

"Many victims are still trapped under the rubble as rescuers cannot reach them," the Anadolu Ajansı newspaper added.

The publication clarifies that more than 116 thousand residents of the Gaza Strip were injured during the conflict.
