In Kharkiv, a teenager accidentally fired a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher (RPG), which he had previously found in a park, and injured his mother and brother. This was reported on April 15 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
According to him, the boy brought the RPG home without informing the adults about it. In the evening, he was photographing a gun on the apartment balcony and accidentally fired. The teenager's mother was seriously injured, and his brother sustained moderate injuries. The teenager himself called an ambulance.
The court sentenced him to three years of probation.
Earlier, on March 5, in Kharkiv, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the Ukrainian equivalent of the military enlistment office) opened fire on a man and smashed the windows of his car. According to the Ukrainian's sister, he was stopped by 15 workers of the shopping mall demanding to show his documents. The victim was able to escape from the military commissars through the courtyards.
