As a result of the drone strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the garage of the ambulance station, official vehicles were severely damaged. Footage of the aftermath of the attack by Ukrainian militants is available to Izvestia.

"A Ukrainian drone detonated in the parking lot of an ambulance station. The blast wave damaged the cars. The bodywork of the cars is dented, both the rear and windshields are knocked out," said Alexey Poltoranin, a correspondent for Izvestia.

A local resident, Andrei Napalkov, reported that he had received information about a strike by Ukrainian militants on a garage that night. According to him, there were no medical personnel on the premises. He clarified that the shift on duty had turned off the lighting at the site for protection and extinguished a small fire.

The man added that the territory was also cordoned off and the relevant authorities were informed about the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"This is a healthcare facility, including a social facility. Striking at healthcare already says a lot about the opposite side," Napalkov stressed.

An employee of the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (GVSU IC) of Russia reported that the inspection and consequences of the attack by Ukrainian militants are continuing. According to him, there are quite a lot of groups working all over Kursk.

He clarified that the inspection is currently taking place at the base of a motor transport company, where ambulances are parked. According to an employee of the Civil Control Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, at least 15 cars were damaged.

A massive attack by Ukrainian drones in the Kursk region became known in the early morning of April 15. As a result of the strikes, several houses caught fire. An 85-year-old woman was also killed, and nine civilians were injured. The fire damaged two multi-storey buildings and three private households. One of the shells hit the ambulance garage, as a result, 11 official vehicles were damaged.

A criminal case on a terrorist act was opened on the fact of a massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on residential buildings in Kursk (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
