In France, a number of prisons were attacked by intruders who set fire to cars and opened fire. This was reported on April 15 by the BFMTV channel.

"Several prisons were subjected to coordinated attacks, during which vehicles were set on fire and automatic weapons were fired," the material says.

It is specified that in Luynes (department of Bouches-du-Rhone) and Valence (department of Drome), unknown people set fire to cars in the parking lot of the prison. In Toulon (Var department), automatic weapons were fired at the prison gates.

According to the channel's sources, this "operation" with arson was a coordinated attack that was a response to the intention to create high-security prisons as part of the fight against drug trafficking.

Earlier, on March 8, it was reported that in Berlin, in the Spandau area, unknown persons set fire to seven cars of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces), after which the vandals issued an appeal. The police took over the investigation on suspicion of political arson.
