The best restaurant concepts of Russia are named

On Monday, April 14, the XX anniversary award "Palm Branch of the restaurant business" was held in Moscow. In the final, 12 gastronomic projects from eight regions of Russia competed for the title of the best new restaurant concept. A business festival with thematic performances and master classes from food industry professionals was also held as part of the award.

By the decision of the expert council, the Golden Palm Branch went to the Embassy project (Samara). He was also awarded in the Media Jury's Choice category. "Gerarnya" (Novosibirsk) was awarded the "Silver Palm Branch". The Bronze Palm Branch was divided between the restaurants Zakroma (Yaroslavl) and Sadko (Krasnoyarsk).

The ceremony also announced the concepts that became the best according to the version of the restaurant guests. The Grand Prix in this category was awarded to the Umai restaurant (Kazan).

According to tradition, the best projects in special nominations were awarded within the framework of the award. The Wine Kitchen restaurant of the Mriya resort (Yalta) was awarded for the gastronomic project "Two chefs — one kitchen" aimed at popularizing local cuisine. For a modern interpretation of the history of the region — the gastropub "Black River" (Voronezh), and for the development of gastronomic tourism in the south of Russia and the preservation of the traditions of local cuisine — the restaurant "Ptitsy Zahmeleli" (Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana). In addition, the Mela metropolitan project was recognized as the best "New restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine." Finally, Irina Khasanova's Confectionery Studio was awarded a special diploma of the Palm Branch.
