The participants of the Moscow national team received more than 800 diplomas at the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in 12 subjects. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that the capital's team showed "excellent results."

According to the results of the competitions in computer science, physics, chemistry, social studies, history, astronomy, art (MHC), Russian, Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese, Muscovites received 825 diplomas: 156 from the winners, another 669 from the winners. "This is 213 more awards than in these subjects last year," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, 14 Muscovites became the absolute winners. 39 students from the capital's schools were among the leaders in several disciplines at once. Sobyanin congratulated the guys on their "remarkable results" and wished them new victories.

This year, over three thousand Moscow schoolchildren reached the finals of the All-Russian Olympiad. This is a record number — last year there were a thousand fewer participants from the capital.

Competitions are held in 24 subjects. Competitions are held in 14 regions of the Russian Federation and on the federal territory of Sirius. The names of all the winners of the Olympiad will be announced on April 30.

At the end of March, the mayor of Moscow announced that last year the number of graduates of Moscow schools who scored 220 points or higher in three subjects of the Unified State Exam increased to 38.3%. The latest results of the unified state exam showed that "the quality of knowledge and competitiveness of Moscow graduates are still at a high level," the mayor stressed.

He also recalled that in 2024, Moscow schoolchildren won 24 medals, including 19 gold, at international subject Olympiads.
