Biden's ex-adviser announces the end of the era of US aid to Ukraine

The era of U.S. support for Kiev has come to an end. This was announced on April 14 by David Shimer, former director for Eastern Europe and Ukraine at the National Security Council in the administration of former President Joe Biden.
He noted that in the near future, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will exhaust $ 1.25 billion in American aid. Shimer also recalled that US President Donald Trump has not yet approved a single aid package for Kiev.
"As a result, the era of US military assistance to Ukraine is coming to an end," Shimer told The Guardian newspaper.
The former official called on European countries to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces, she added "Газета.Ru ".
On April 14, Trump said that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky was constantly asking Washington for missiles. The head of the White House expressed the opinion that at the beginning of a military conflict, it is necessary to understand in advance whether victory is possible, and stressed that one should not start a war against an enemy significantly superior in strength, relying solely on outside help.
