- In the Leningrad region, a mother resettled her children in a bathhouse for offenses

A resident of the suburban village of Khimik-2 in the Leningrad region resettled her three sons between the ages of seven and 11 in a bathhouse for offenses. This was announced on April 15 by a source of Izvestia.
"The children lived with their mother and her roommate, both unemployed. In early March, a woman evicted them to a sauna on the property for misconduct. The boys don't study anywhere, they're in torn clothes, they're hungry," the source said.
The children were sent to the pediatric department of the district hospital. The family is not registered with the Juvenile Affairs Department.
According to the source, the woman and her roommate are abusing alcohol. In addition, in 2023, the mother was convicted under Article 228 ("Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues") for a period of five years with a delay for the same period.
The woman's location has not yet been established. A protocol has been drawn up against her roommate under Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Minor hooliganism"), and the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
On April 14, a 29-year-old resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was detained in Kansk after she killed three of her children with an axe. A four-year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years were killed. Later it became known that the woman is registered with a psychiatrist. Her husband was brought to administrative responsibility for beating his seven-year-old son.
Later that day, neighbors told Izvestia about the closeness of the killer. Other neighbors shared that the detained woman often talked to herself. They noted that the children did not stand out for their special behavior, they only made noise during games.
