A criminal case has been opened into a massive attack by the Armed Formations of Ukraine (AFU) on residential buildings in Kursk. This was reported on April 15 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"On the night of April 15, 2025, Ukrainian militants, using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, massively attacked residential buildings in the city of Kursk. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) also hit the ambulance station," the report said.

It clarifies that a criminal case has been opened on a terrorist act (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

In less than a week, 23 objects were hit.

A massive strike by Ukrainian drones on the Kursk region became known in the early morning of April 15. As a result, several houses caught fire, and an 85-year-old woman was killed, nine civilians were injured. The fire damaged two multi-storey buildings and three private households. One of the shells hit the ambulance garage, as a result, 11 official vehicles were damaged.
