The heating season is gradually coming to an end in the Lipetsk region. A day later, on April 16, the heat supply will be turned off in the houses of the capital of the region. The corresponding decree was signed by Mayor Roman Chentsov.

According to him, quoted by GOROD48, forecasters predict that it will be steadily warm this week, with the air temperature reaching +24 degrees. A phased shutdown of heating will begin in apartment buildings. However, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens will do this at the request of their supervisors.

In Yelets, the heating season will end today, on April 15. In social facilities, this will also be done at the request of the heads of institutions, said Yelets Mayor Evgeny Borovskikh. The decision to turn off the heating was also made due to the forecast of meteorologists.

In parallel, the cities will begin preparations for the next heating season. So, in Lipetsk this year it is planned to upgrade more than 17 km of heating networks and about 27 networks of water supply and sanitation.

Earlier it was reported that the end of the heating season in Khabarovsk is scheduled for the first decade of May. The exact date of the heat supply shutdown will be approved based on the weather forecast. The heating will be turned off when the average daily air temperature rises to +8 degrees for five consecutive days.
