A girl from Severomorsk was accused of torturing her young daughter.

In Severomorsk, Murmansk region, a 24-year-old local woman was accused of torturing her four-year-old daughter. The criminal case was initiated under the article "Torture committed against a known minor."

According to the Bi-port news agency, with reference to the SU TFR for the region, it was established that in the period from December 2024 to April 2025, a young mother systematically beat her daughter in her apartment, thereby causing her pain and moral suffering.

While the preliminary investigation is underway, the child has been isolated from his mother and placed in a specialized institution.

Investigators are collecting evidence in the case, and medical and psychological-psychiatric examinations are being conducted.

Earlier it was reported that in Taganrog, police detained a mother suspected of murder and attempted murder of her two six-month-old twin children. The woman, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, caused bodily injuries to her two sons. After that, she put the children in carrier bags and left them in one of the shops in the city.
