The first episode of the second season of the TV series Last of Us was released in Russia

The first episode of the second season of the TV series "One of us" / "The Last of us" / Last of Us was released on the night of Monday, April 14, Moscow time. No official release has been announced in Russia, but the episode appeared online with a professional Russian dubbing.

Western publications gave the episode high marks: on aggregators, they are close to one hundred percent of the "Last of Us".

The series is an adaptation of the video game of the same name, the first part of which, released in 2013, by 2019 already had 20 million copies in the hands of users. The second part was released in 2020 and by 2022 it had sold more than 10 million copies. The series has garnered 40 million views in the first two months since its release.

The first season didn't differ much from the game. The audience loved the insert episode, which was not in the original source, telling about a family that decided to choose its own path and isolate itself from the rest of the world.

The second season, as follows from the first episode, can repeat the second part of the video game almost exactly. Because of this, there is no intrigue — the game was released not so long ago, and viewers who are familiar with it still remember the plot and will not find anything unexpected in the film adaptation.
