Chinese authorities have accused the US National Security Agency (NSA) of organizing cyber attacks on critical infrastructure during the Asian Winter Games in the country. This was reported by Reuters on April 15.

"The Public Security Bureau of Harbin City in northeast China has accused the NSA of organizing cyber attacks during the Asian Winter Games in February, targeting important industries," the agency reports.

In this regard, three NSA employees were put on the wanted list. According to representatives of the Harbin Public Security Bureau, two unnamed American universities may also be involved in the attacks.

On April 9, Sergey Kosinsky, Deputy General Director and head of the digital unit of Gazprom Media Holding, announced changes in the number of cyber attacks on the Rutube video hosting service. While in March, the video hosting site was subjected to 20 major cyber attacks, only two minor attacks were carried out in the first week of April.
