Increasing divorce fees may reduce the number of marriages

An increase in the divorce fee may lead to a decrease in the number of marriages, it is necessary to support young people and educate them about possible support measures. This was stated on April 14 by Tatyana Butskaya, Deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, TASS.
"An increase in divorce fines will only lead to fewer marriages. And what we need to do is to support young people in starting a family in every possible way and help them figure out those support measures, which, however, are very numerous," commented Butskaya.
In addition, the MP noted that it is important to stay in touch with young people who have decided to get married. In her opinion, in this case, there will be more happy families who understand all support measures.

Earlier, on March 14, Ekaterina Zabolotskaya, lawyer and managing partner of ROCK Counselor, spoke about the advantages of formalizing a marriage.
Zabolotskaya noted that banks are much more willing to approve loans to family people, as for them this confirms their social stability and responsibility. In addition, a registered marriage may provide an advantage such as receiving tax deductions.
