A resident of the Pskov region is awaiting trial for a double murder out of jealousy

In the Pskov region, the investigation of a criminal case against a resident of the Bezhanitsky district, who stabbed her roommate and friend out of jealousy, has been completed. The regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports about this in its Telegram channel.

The murder occurred on the night of May 15, 2024 in a private house, when their friend came to visit the couple. While drinking alcohol, the hostess of the house became jealous of her roommate and stabbed both of them.

The victims died on the spot. As explained in the UK, the stabbings occurred in vital organs.

The investigation of the criminal case under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Murder of two persons" has been completed. The suspect was in custody during the investigation.

The case materials have already been submitted to the court for consideration on the merits, the Pskov News feed notes. The sanction of this article provides for eight to 20 years in prison.

On February 24, a receptionist was attacked with a knife at a sports club in Pskov. The attacker turned out to be the victim's 34-year-old roommate, he stabbed the girl in the head, neck and chest area, and then disappeared. The investigation believes that there was a conflict between the couple on the grounds of jealousy.
