Three people died due to the explosion of a fuel tank in Chechnya


An explosion of a fuel tank at a gas filling station in the village of Novoterskoye in the Naursky district of Chechnya killed three people. This was announced on April 14 by the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
"Currently, investigators and criminologists are examining the scene of the incident, forensic examinations have been appointed, and other investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing the circumstances of the incident and the perpetrators," the agency said in a statement posted on its website.
A criminal case has been opened into the incident on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence").
On March 8, in the town of Argun in Chechnya, four people, including a child, were injured in a gas explosion at a construction goods store. The explosion of the gas-air mixture caused fire and destruction.
