Russian President Vladimir Putin asked an employee of the Slotex furniture factory in the Leningrad Region about the salary level and working conditions at the enterprise. The Head of State spoke with the employee on April 14 during a meeting with members of the government and the opening of a number of industrial facilities via video link.
After the report of the head of the company, Putin asked to call one of the employees to the microphone. The president asked the woman who approached about the salary level and conditions at the enterprise.
"And how do you assess the working conditions? And the salary level? How much do you get paid?" asked Putin.
The employee informed the president that the working conditions at the enterprise are good. Regarding the income level, she replied: "Enough is enough." In response to questions about the availability of medical and social infrastructure, the woman said that everything necessary is easily accessible and works well.
Earlier in the day, at a meeting with members of the government, Putin announced the launch of three wood processing plants in the regions of Russia — they have started operating in the Kaluga, Leningrad and Moscow regions. The Head of State noted that strengthening the technological base in the field of woodworking is among the priorities in the Russian Federation.
