Investigators have opened a criminal case against officials of the prevention authorities after the murder of three children in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported on April 14 by the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Telegram channel.

"The investigation also opened a criminal case on the fact of negligence of officials of the prevention system (Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the message says.

It is noted that a criminal case has been opened against the mother of the victims on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "b", "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of three minors committed with extreme cruelty").

The suspect in the case is the babies' father.

Earlier that day, a 29-year-old resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was detained in Kansk after she killed three of her children with an axe. A four-year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years were killed. Later it became known that the woman is registered with a psychiatrist. Her husband was brought to administrative responsibility for beating his seven-year-old son.

In addition, the family's neighbors said that the children's mother was introverted and behaved strangely. They also reported that the detained woman often talked to herself. However, the children did not stand out for their special behavior, they only made noise during the games.
