The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation will act as a qualified customer for the entire fuel and energy complex of the country. This was announced on April 14 by the head of the department, Sergey Tsivilev, answering a question from Izvestia.

The Minister noted that the enterprises will receive long-term loading contracts for 6, 12 and 18 years. An important element of the strategy will be a system of "six-year plans", which will last until 2042. In addition, Tsivilev said that the task of creating technological sovereignty was set on behalf of the president.

"Technological sovereignty is technologies that are already used in the world, but we must possess all these key technologies ourselves. And not only possess key technologies, but also be able to produce equipment for these key technologies," explained the head of the Ministry of Energy.

He pointed out that "there is a person responsible for each technology," and manufacturers are formed for each one.
