Deputy Kharchenko visited several schools in Kursk for the purpose of monitoring

Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, visited several educational institutions in Kursk on April 14 as part of the monitoring of the New School party project.
"Within the framework of the people's program of the United Russia party, there is a plan to overhaul educational institutions. These are secondary schools and educational organizations for gifted children," Kharchenko said.
It is noted that she first visited boarding school No. 1. An entire floor is already being dismantled there before renovation. Parents and students follow him, they also influence the choice of design.
"They attract parents. Parents coordinate the color, arrangement, and furniture. Even to some extent, how convenient. The parent Committee is very closely involved in the educational process, as well as directly in everyday matters," said Alexander Mezentsev, the father of three lyceum students.
In addition, Olga Shadrina, the mother of one of the lyceum's students, noted the positive qualities of this educational institution. According to her, the lyceum is even "emotionally good."
Kharchenko also visited School No. 14, where repairs need to be made.
The last place to visit was the territory in front of the Kursk State Pedagogical University building. The building is located opposite the Memorial of the Fallen during the Great Patriotic War (WWII). They noticed that the letters "Kursk — the city of military glory" had faded on the hull. In addition, the territory itself also needs to be put in order.
On March 31, it became known that school No. 17 in Sevastopol had reopened after major repairs. It is specified that the educational institution has completely renovated all the premises and the food hall, equipped workshops, labor offices with the necessary equipment, and also carried out landscaping of adjacent areas.
