The most reliable cars in Russia are named

The Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV turned out to be the leader of the rating among the models with the lowest percentage of breakdowns among cars in Russia. This was reported on April 14 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing a study by the Fit Service car service network and the Gruzdev-Analyze analytical agency.
Experts analyzed more than 3 million car arrivals in the network and more than 18 thousand interviews. The reliability rating was based on the average percentage of breakdowns for cars aged 3 to 23 years, 319 car models participated in the study.
Among the models, the Mercedes-Benz G-class became the leader, the share of breakdowns in the German SUV is the lowest — 44.1%. The Toyota Camry is in second place in terms of reliability (45.1%). The third position is occupied by the hybrid Toyota Prius (46%). Next are Lexus GS, Skoda Superb, Skoda Yeti and BMW 5 Series, as well as Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes-Benz C-class and Skoda Octavia.
The most reliable Lada model was 2112 (50.8%), followed by XRay (50.9%) and Vesta (50.9%), all of which were in the middle of the reliability rating. Among the Chinese models, the Geely Emgrand EC7 became the leader with a 50.3% breakage rate, which was ranked 135th.
In the rating of brands, Skoda became the most reliable in Russian operating conditions with a breakdown rate of 47.5%. This is followed by Mercedes-Benz (48.7%) and Toyota (48.9%), as well as Lexus (49%) and BMW (49.1%).
Earlier that day, auto expert Maxim Rakitin said that the main sign of a future car breakdown is foreign odors in the cabin. Rakitin gave an example of the smell of gasoline, which should not be present, except after refueling. He attributed the incorrect reaction to the factory and poor idling to the alarm signals.
On April 11, Roman Sokuev, head of the Sintec Lubricants Technical expertise center, said that due to the operation of the start-stop system, additional loads on the engine and engine oil arise, which requires special attention from the car owner.
