Police have identified 25 illegal migrants in a sauna in Moscow
Moscow's law enforcement agencies identified 25 illegal migrants during an inspection of a bathing complex. This was announced on April 14 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the capital.
It is specified that the inspection of the public premises located in the Timiryazevsky district was carried out on April 10. As a result of the operation, 59 foreigners were taken to the internal affairs departments.
"Administrative materials have been compiled for 25 of them under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Violation by a foreign citizen of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay in the Russian Federation)," the agency's website says.
In addition, six migrants were engaged in illegal labor activities. The issue of bringing their employer to administrative responsibility is currently being resolved.
According to the agency, no illegal actions against migrants were committed by police officers.
The raid of the security forces, according to media reports, was carried out in a sauna complex.
On April 7, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that police officers had collected 21 materials on the fact of illegal recruitment of foreigners to work. It was established that 15 Uzbek citizens worked at one of the enterprises. They did not fully register for migration registration — they did not pass a medical examination, an exam in the Russian language and did not receive a patent. 15 administrative protocols have been drawn up against the employer under Article 18.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal employment of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation"), and the materials have been submitted to the court.
