A felt earthquake occurred near Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Territory. This was announced on April 14 by the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the region in the Telegram channel.

"At about 22 hours local time (15:00 Moscow time), an earthquake was recorded eight kilometers south-east of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur," the report said.

According to preliminary information, the magnitude of the seismic event was 3.1, and its epicenter was located at a depth of nine km. In addition, the ministry noted that local residents could feel small tremors.

It is specified that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake.

The day before, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred in Kamchatka. It was noted that aftershocks of up to four points were felt in some areas of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yelizovsky district and Vilyuchinsky city district.
