But how do you prove to the court—and to yourself—that you are a really good father? Unexpectedly, Sergey finds himself... on the parent committee. Dozens of messages about gifts, costumes, tea parties and the decoration of the auditorium are pouring out of the chats. Matinees, meetings, endless discussions — he finds himself in a world where adults are seriously arguing about the color of napkins for the holiday. There he meets his former classmate, Svetlana Surkova (Olga Lerman). Fifteen years ago, she was the quiet one from the back of the classroom, and now she's the thunderstorm of the rodcom. She manages moms like a ministry, keeps the entire teaching staff on their toes, and can resolve any school crisis in three voice calls. She remembers Shmelev perfectly: at school, he interfered with her studies, disrupted her lessons and, it seems, still annoys her. At first, it all seems like a game. But gradually Sergey realizes that rodcom is not just about tea parties and costumes. It's about responsibility, about how important it is to be included in your child's life. And if you want to be around, you need to learn how to listen, understand, and negotiate not only with children, but also with adults.
