The Su-35S fighter fulfilled the task of escorting aviation in the Kursk region


The crew of the Su-35S multirole fighter of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation escorted aviation equipment in the border areas of the Kursk region. On April 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the pilots' combat work.
"The crew of the Su-35S multirole thrust vector fighter of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation completed a combat mission to escort aviation equipment in the border areas of the Kursk region," the ministry said.
During the duty, the fighter covered the actions of the aircraft during air strikes on temporary deployment points and strongholds of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). After completing the task, the fighter returned to the airfield. According to the intelligence report, the targets were successfully eliminated.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the day the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 235 militants in the Kursk border area, an armored personnel carrier, three armored combat vehicles, and 14 vehicles. According to the ministry, the Russian army also hit four field artillery guns, four mortars and a BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle.
