Russian Prosecutor General Krasnov arrives in Abu Dhabi on a working visit

Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has arrived in Abu Dhabi on a working visit. This was announced on April 14 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

"The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Igor Krasnov, arrived in Abu Dhabi at the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Seif Al-Shamsi," the statement said.

It is noted that during the working trip, Krasnov will meet with the heads of competent authorities and representatives of the country's leadership. In addition, it is planned to sign bilateral documents.

Earlier, on November 21 last year, Krasnov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting in Tashkent, during which the parties discussed a cybersecurity project. According to Krasnov, the prosecutor's offices of both countries "fruitfully cooperate" on a wide range of issues related to the protection of citizens' rights and the fight against crime.

In addition, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation noted that he fully supports Mirziyoyev's point of view on the need to establish systematic interaction between the competent CIS authorities to improve methods of combating modern criminal threats.
