A mother with many children from Kansk who killed three children is registered with a psychiatrist

A woman who killed three of her children in the city of Kansk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is also registered as a psychiatrist. This was announced by the regional prosecutor's office on April 14.

"A large family is complete, it previously came to the attention of the prevention system, has been on the preventive register since October 2024, and the father was brought to administrative responsibility for beatings against his 7-year—old son," the department added in its Telegram channel.

The prosecutor's office clarified that the motives of the detained woman are currently being established. A criminal case has been opened against her on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "d", "c" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of three minors committed with extreme cruelty")

Also, during the inspection, the prosecutor's office will assess the activities of the prevention system for working with the family.

The suspect in the case is the babies' father.

Earlier that day, a 29-year-old resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was detained in Kansk after she killed three of her children with an axe. A four-year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years were killed.
