A woman was detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on suspicion of murdering three children.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers detained a 29-year-old woman who is suspected of murdering her three children. This was announced on April 14 by the Main investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Law enforcement agencies have received a report about the discovery of the bodies of three young children in a private house on Herzen Street in Kansk: a four—year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years with chopped wounds in the head and various parts of the body," the Telegram channel said.

A criminal case has been opened against her on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "d", "c" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of three minors committed with extreme cruelty")

It is noted that the suspect was detained. All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

The suspect in the case is the babies' father.

On April 4, a source from Izvestia reported that in the village of Tumkino, Ulyanovsk region, a teenage girl was found in the basement of her own house with her throat slit. According to the Russian Interior Ministry, the victim was 14 years old.

On April 5, the Investigative Committee of Russia reported the arrest of two suspects, including a minor local resident, in the Terengulsky district. A criminal case has been opened into the crime under Part 3 of Article 162 ("Robbery with entry into a home or on a large scale"), as well as under paragraphs "b" and "h" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor for mercenary motives").
