The Russian side is not aware of the negotiations on security in the Black Sea with the participation of the Russian Federation and Ukraine in Ankara on April 15-16. This was announced on April 14 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from Izvestia.
The day before, it was reported that the Turkish Ministry of National Defense will organize a meeting in Ankara from April 15 to 16, during which military representatives of foreign countries will discuss the safety of navigation in the Black Sea.
"I cannot comment in any way here. <...> I cannot confirm this," Peskov said at a briefing.
He clarified that he was not aware of what the Turkish media wrote about in the context of this topic.
