Russians were reminded of the increased tax deduction for sports

Russians will be refunded 1.5 billion rubles in tax deduction for sports. This was announced on April 14 by Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and President of the Russian Olympic Committee, as part of the Event Management Workshop educational program.
"Today I will report to the president [of Russia Vladimir Putin] on taxes and deductions, and there is such a measure for those who want to play sports. The state is currently returning about 1.5 billion rubles," he said in an interview with TASS.
Degtyarev added that the minimum amount of annual sports expenses from which you can receive a tax deduction is 150 thousand rubles.
According to the minister, 80 million people are currently engaged in physical education, and by 2030 it is planned to increase this number to 100 million.
On February 20, lawyer Madina Tebueva, in an interview with Izvestia, said that a tax deduction can only be obtained for those services provided by organizations or individual entrepreneurs (IE) registered in the official register of operators of sports and recreation services. According to her, compensation is paid for certain categories of expenses, including sports and fitness expenses.
