Hongqi has developed a sedan with a range of 1.6 thousand km.

The Chinese company Hongqi has introduced a new version of the H5 business sedan in China. In the PHEV hybrid modification, it is capable of driving up to 1.6 thousand km without stopping (according to the CLTC measurement cycle), the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on April 14.

The hybrid system includes a 1.5 petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp and an electric motor with a peak output of 228 hp. The maximum torque reaches 340 Nm. The battery capacity is 23.9 kWh, it is enough for 130 or 170 km of electric travel, depending on the modification. Fuel consumption under certain conditions is 3.75 liters per 100 km. It takes almost 14 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%.

The length of the sedan is 4988 mm with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The cabin has two screens (a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 12.6-inch multimedia display), an atmospheric backlight with a choice of 253 shades, seats with ventilation and heating, and wireless charging.

Pre–orders for the model in China have already opened, the novelty is available at prices ranging from 159.8 thousand to 199.8 thousand yuan (1.8-2.3 million rubles). Delivery of this model to Russia is not planned yet, the Russian representative office of the brand noted.

On April 10, Hongqi introduced in Russia a new version of the Hongqi H5 business sedan in the Black Edition, the novelty will cost from 4.99 million rubles, taking into account the benefits. The model is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 218 hp. paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

On April 2, Hongqi announced the launch of the new HQ9 minivan on the Russian market, the model is available in two trim levels priced from 7.69 million and 8.49 million rubles. The minivan is offered with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 245 hp (380 Nm) with a 48-volt electrical system and a classic eight-speed automatic transmission.
