"The energy strategy takes into account the growth of global demand for all types of sources by 20% by 2050," said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
According to him, the strategy defines long-term guidelines for the period up to 2050, including the development of the fuel and energy complex in the face of global challenges, the energy transition, the introduction of digital technologies, technological change in general, as well as growing energy consumption.
Novak specified that the increase in industrial production, the development of electric transport in urban agglomerations and the growth of digital infrastructure will ensure long-term demand for both energy resources and petrochemical products.
