The EAO reported an increase in the rate of resettlement from emergency housing

In the Far Eastern Federal District, more than 118.5 thousand people have moved from dilapidated and dilapidated housing to comfortable homes in six years. In the EAO, 908 residents managed to get new apartments. The national project "Housing and Urban environment" is increasing the pace of development.

In six regions of the country, including the EAO, there was an increase in the commissioning of multi-family housing. Thus, in the EAO, the rate of settlement has increased by more than 2.5 times. Since 2019, 16 109.5 square meters have been allocated in Birobidzhan. The work is carried out within the framework of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life".

According to the mayor of Birobidzhan Maxim Semenov, quoted by IA EAOmedia, houses that were declared emergency until December 1, 2017 are currently being resettled. New houses are being built on Shirokaya Street. It also provides housing for citizens who live in emergency apartments.

Several facilities will be commissioned in the EAO in the near future: a house for 135 apartments in the city of Obluchye and two houses for 45 apartments in Birobidzhan. The design and estimate documentation is ready for the house in the village of Volochaevka-2.

The Far Eastern Quarter program is also being implemented in the EAO. By 2034, the developer company will gradually build more than 176 thousand square meters of housing in Birobidzhan. The territory for residential development will be provided with the necessary utilities and utility networks at the expense of the federal budget.

At the end of February, it was reported that the tariff for meals for children from poor families would increase in schools in Birobidzhan. The decision was made at a joint meeting of the standing committees of the City Duma. Previously, 45 rubles per day were allocated for one child in this category. This amount has now been increased to 100 rubles.
