Two people were injured when a bus collided with a passenger car in Kamchatka


In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a regular bus and a passenger car collided, as a result of which two people were injured. This was announced on Monday, April 14, by the press service of the regional Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Telegram channel.
The accident happened on the morning of April 14 on the highway connecting the residential districts of Zavoiko and Kopai. According to preliminary data from the agency, the driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Yutong bus.
As a result of the incident, a man and a woman who were in a passenger car were injured. The specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations unblocked them from the damaged transport using hydraulic tools, and then handed them over to the ambulance crew, the report says.
Rescuers also turned off the battery in the car to avoid a subsequent fire. In total, 10 people and two pieces of equipment worked at the scene, the Ministry of Emergency Situations added.
A source from Izvestia reported on April 14 that a heavy truck had overturned on Serebryakov Passage in northern Moscow. Then he clarified that the accident had occurred right at the pedestrian crossing. According to him, there was no fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
