Crews of attack aircraft on Su-25 aircraft destroyed armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) disguised in a wooded area of the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on February 14 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the targets were destroyed by missiles, which the crews fired in pairs from extremely low altitude. Thanks to the precise actions of the pilots, the APU equipment was destroyed.

After hitting the targets, the crews performed a maneuver, releasing heat traps, and returned to the departure airfield, where their aircraft were serviced by engineering staff and prepared for repeated departures.

"We received the task at the command post, prepared for its completion, and then took off in pairs at the appointed time. Flying en route to the target area, then, after entering the combat course, an air strike was launched using unguided aircraft missiles from a tow," said Pavel, the Su—25 pilot.
