The movie "Red Silk" became the most successful detective in the Russian box office
Joint Russian-Chinese film Andrei Volgin "Red Silk" with Milos Bikovich and Gleb Kalyuzhny became the most successful detective in our box office, collecting almost 700 million rubles. A sequel to the tape is already in the works. This was reported to "Izvestia" by the Minister of culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova.
"The producers have done the impossible - received with co-production hire in China and became successful in Russia. I know that now is already preparing the second part, "Black Silk", and very seriously producers and screenwriters are approaching the continuation of this story, hoping to attract even more viewers to theaters, "- said Lyubimova.
The culture minister noted that cooperation between Russian and Chinese cinematography was discussed at the highest level - by the leaders of the two countries.
"Both [Russian President] Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and [Chinese leader] Xi Jinping in Kazan at the forum talked about our cinema, that we are really loved in China, they know Soviet cinema. Every time we meet, the Chinese warmly recall certain works and heroes from Soviet times. Of course, it is very important to us that this tradition continues. And you, moreover, probably realize that China has long been the first cinematography in the world," - said the Minister of Culture.
According to her, Chinese distributors have become interested in Russian cinema, they note the growth of the level of audiovisual graphics and scripts. The Ministry of Culture plans to promote our cinematography in China, to facilitate the issuance of rental certificates to domestic films, as well as to promote the expansion of joint production of films and cartoons.
