In Shakhtersk (DNR) and Luhansk, the M.L. Matusovsky Academy of Culture and Arts will establish the "Outpost" documentary film studios. Their opening will take place by May 9. About this "Izvestia" told the Minister of culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova.

"These will be platforms and for our war correspondents, and for local guys who receive profile education there. And in general for all documentary filmmakers who can come there, upload a picture, review, collect the movie. All the equipment has already been purchased, the infrastructure has been created," Lyubimova said.

According to the Minister, now is the time of the renaissance of documentary cinema. In many ways, this is facilitated by the development of technology: a good smartphone can shoot a video even better than in the past allowed professional equipment. In addition, the interest of the audience in this type of content is important.

"I can't help but be happy for our documentary filmmakers. There were years of crisis for documentary cinema, when everyone was fascinated by the bright game picture. Especially when it became possible to watch a wide variety of movies from different countries. Documentary cinema was difficult to promote, but you know how popular it is now on Internet platforms, online platforms", - said the Minister of Culture.

She also said that a studio similar to those created in the DNR and LNR is planned to be opened in Sevastopol(Crimea).
