At least 20 Italian companies applied for participation in SPIEF

At least 20 Italian companies have already applied for participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in 2025. Vittorio Torrembini, head of the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in the Russian Federation (GIM Unimpresa), told Izvestia.

At the same time, the final number of participants has not yet been determined, as registration is still ongoing.

"Now there are about 100 Italian companies working in Russia. Those who have left are mainly those who were engaged in trade. And those who [retained] production have stayed," Torrembini said.

SPIEF-2025 will be held this year from June 18 to 21.
